ACF X : Cruzamos la Frontera
La décima de ACF es también un 1. Un re-comienzo.
En tiempos algo convulsos, sentimos que es momento de abrir, de mover, de probar.
Por eso este año nos permitimos romper la forma y celebrar el Asturias Contact Festival, por qué no, en Galicia. 🙂
ACF ha ido recorriendo el territorio, del oriente al occidente de Asturias y ahora cruzamos a la tierra vecina, expandiéndonos también hacia dentro, como hace la conciencia cuando se permite ir un poco más allá de lo conocido.
La primera participante de nuestra primera edición nos invita a su tierra.
A través de La Oficina Galega de Outros Asuntos do Movemento, Lourenzá se abre como un espacio de resonancia donde el patrimonio histórico y el paisaje facilitan el encuentro, la improvisación y la escucha del cuerpo en comunidad.
Celebramos una decena de festivales.
Seguimos queriendo expandir nuestra práctica a los que ni siquiera la conocen.
Es necesario romper esa frontera, abrir espacios de escucha, generar confianza entre cuerpos desconocidos, recordar que el otro no es amenaza, sino posibilidad.
Y tal vez, desde ahí, contribuir —aunque sea mínimamente— a un mundo más amable.
Queremos encontrarnos con la gente local.
Escuchar al pueblo.
Abrir el coloquio.
Danzar sus calles, praos, ríos y plazas.
La costa lucense.
Los cuerpos que ya habitan este lugar.
Y queremos volver, como un gesto de raíz, al último punto de Asturias, la playa de Mexota.
Reconocer de dónde venimos, mientras seguimos moviéndonos.
Cruzamos la frontera para desdibujarla, porque las fronteras pueden ser imaginarias.
En CI tambien cruzamos fronteras en el encuentro entre cuerpos,
o mas bien, las olvidamos, las desdibujamos.
ACF X es una invitación a movernos juntas, a escucharnos, a reconocernos.
Porque en el fondo no hay separación.
Todos somos 1.

ACF X: Crossing the frontier
ACF’s tenth edition is also a 1. A new beginning.
In these turbulent times, we feel it’s time to open up, to move, to experiment.
That’s why this year we’re allowing ourselves to break the ‘normality’ and celebrate the Asturias Contact Festival, why not, in Galicia? 🙂
ACF has been traveling across the territory, from east to west of Asturias, and now we’re crossing into neighboring Galicia, expanding inward as well, like consciousness does when it allows itself to go a little beyond the known.
The first participant in our first edition invites us to her homeland.
Through La Oficina Galega de Outros Asuntos do Movemento, Lourenzá opens up as a space of resonance where the historical heritage and the landscape facilitate encounter, improvisation, and listening to the body in community.
We’ve celebrated ten festivals.
We continue to want to expand our practice to those who don’t even know it.
It is necessary to break down that barrier, to open spaces for listening, to build trust between strangers, to remember that the other is not a threat, but a possibility.
And perhaps, from there, to contribute—even if only minimally—to a kinder world.
We want to meet the local people.
To listen to the people.
To open up the dialogue.
To dance through its streets, meadows, rivers, and squares.
The coast of Lugo.
The bodies that already inhabit this place.
And we want to return, as a gesture rooted in our origins, to the last point we touched in Asturias: Mexota beach.
To acknowledge where we come from, while we continue moving.
We cross the border to blur it, because borders can be imaginary.
At CI, we also cross borders in the encounter between bodies,
or rather, we forget them, we blur them.
ACF X is an invitation to move together, to listen to each other, to recognize each other.
Because deep down, there is no separation.
We are all one.
And from there, we dance.
