Cruzamos la frontera: Este año nos acoge el concejo de Lourenzá, en Galicia
Lourenzá es un pequeño concejo del norte de Lugo, recogido en un valle verde por el que discurre el río Masma. Se sitúa a unos 20 km de la costa lucense y 8 km de Mondoñedo. Cuenta con un patrimonio histórico bien interesante y es también famosa por su faba. Lourenzá ofrece todos los servicios básicos para disfrutar de la semana: tiendas, supermercados, bares, restaurantes. Se convierte así en el lugar perfecto para dejarse llevar por una semana de danza, naturaleza y comunidad.
INSTALACIONES
El festival se desarrollará principalmente en el Multiusos Fonte de Cuñas, un espacio municipal que reúne todo lo que necesitamos en un mismo recinto:
– Una sala grande con tarima flotante, que será nuestra principal sala de baile.
– Una nave contigua que funcionará como comedor.
– Espacio exterior habilitado para la pernocta en camper, furgoneta o caravana, junto al recinto.
El concejo nos facilita también instalaciones con habitaciones con literas y baños con duchas de forma gratuita y para los que quieran mas confort, hay una variedad de alojamientos turísticos que puedes consultar en el apartado Alojamiento de esta misma web.
CATERING
Este año cuidamos especialmente lo que comemos. Luz Ernes – Ribeiregas se encargará del catering del festival, dentro del propio recinto: cocina ecológica, de cercanía y completamente vegetariana, pensada para que la comida sea rica, nutritiva y sostenga el cuerpo a lo largo de la semana. Lourenzá is a small municipality in northern Lugo, nestled in a green valley through which the Masma River flows. It is located about 20 km from the Lugo coast and 8 km from Mondoñedo. It boasts a fascinating historical heritage and is also famous for its faba beans. Lourenzá offers all the essential services for a comfortable week: shops, supermarkets, bars, and restaurants. This makes it the perfect place to immerse yourself in a week of dance, nature, and community.
FACILITIES
The festival will take place primarily at the Fonte de Cuñas Multipurpose Center, a municipal space that offers everything we need in one location:
– A large hall with a floating stage, which will be our main dance floor.
– An adjacent building that will serve as a dining area.
– An outdoor area designated for overnight stays in campervans, vans, or caravans, next to the venue.
The council also provides us with free accommodation with bunk beds and bathrooms with showers. For those seeking more comfort, there is a variety of tourist accommodations available, which you can find in the Accommodation section of this website.
CATERING
This year, we are paying special attention to what we eat. Luz Ernes – Ribeiregas will be in charge of the festival’s catering, within the venue itself: organic, locally sourced, and completely vegetarian cuisine, designed to be delicious, nutritious, and provide sustenance throughout the week. CÓMO LLEGAR
Previo al festival, organizaremos la comunicación entre las participantes para facilitar los viajes compartidos.
Avión Aeropuerto de Asturias, en el concejo de Castrillón (a unos 130 km de Lourenzá por la A-8) Aeropuerto de A Coruña (a unos 130 km aprox.) Aeropuerto de Santiago de Compostela (a unos 155 km aprox.)
Tren Línea Oviedo–Ferrol / Ferrol–Oviedo (Renfe, ancha métrica, antigua FEVE), con trenes diarios en ambas direcciones. La estación de Lourenzá se encuentra en el propio concejo. Para más información consulta la web de Renfe.
Autobús ALSA Líneas con parada en Lourenzá o muy cerca: Oviedo–Ribadeo–Oviedo Gijón–Ribadeo–Gijón (estas líneas siguen la costa cantábrica; quien quiera puede bajarse en Ribadeo o Mondoñedo y enlazar el último tramo. Verifica si hay parada directa en Lourenzá.) Para más información consulta la web de ALSA.
Carretera El concejo está bien comunicado por la autopista A-8 (Autovía del Cantábrico), con salida directa a Lourenzá, y por la N-634, que recorre la costa enlazando hacia el este con Asturias (Ribadeo, Avilés, autopista A-66) y hacia el oeste con A Coruña y la A-6. La N-642 también discurre cerca, por la Mariña.
HOW TO GET THERE
Prior to the festival, we will arrange communication between participants to facilitate carpooling.

Train Oviedo–Ferrol / Ferrol–Oviedo line (Renfe metric-gauge, formerly FEVE), with daily trains in both directions. Lourenzá has its own station within the municipality. For more information, visit the Renfe website.
Bus (ALSA) Lines stopping in Lourenzá or nearby: Oviedo–Ribadeo–Oviedo Gijón–Ribadeo–Gijón (these lines run along the Cantabrian coast; you can get off in Ribadeo or Mondoñedo and continue the last stretch by car/local bus. Road Lourenzá is well connected by the A-8 motorway (Autovía del Cantábrico), with a direct exit to the town, and by the N-634, which runs along the Cantabrian coast linking eastward with Asturias (Ribadeo, Avilés, A-66 motorway) and westward with A Coruña and the A-6. The N-642 also passes nearby, through the Mariña region.
